The Siren Edge's footbed is called M.Select FIT.ECO from Merrell. Made from blended EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate), it has an organic odor control feature, keeping the foot dry and fresh. This insole is also contoured to provide support and comfort.

The Siren Edge by Merrell is also equipped with a molded nylon shank which adds firmness. A nylon shank is lightweight. It is also flexible yet supportive. It allows the enables users to move naturally while not compromising the support for the foot arches, thus reducing the likelihood of foot fatigue.

The upper is crafted with a breathable mesh and 3D print mesh. This design does not limit the breathability of the material used. The 3D print overlays add support and structure to the footgear without the increase in weight.

The Merrell Siren Edge's tongue is connected to the sides of the upper to form the bellows tongue. It prevents trail debris from entering the hiking shoe.
