I think the fact that the Merrell All Out Blaze Sieve women's walking sandals are very easy to get on and off even when wet, and that they don't even pong a tiny bit after being wet at least 50 times are huge positives in their favor.
If you’re looking for a lightweight, multipurpose hiking shoe, these two should be on your list.
They are more like a hybrid trainer/sandal. I can see there would be lots of opportunities to wear these on summer holiday
-The Merrell All Out Blaze Sieve is a closed-toe water sandal made of leather and neoprene uppers that are quick-drying and abrasion-resistant. It's equipped with a durable Vibram sole with water channeling design to get you through wet surfaces. Meanwhile, the adjustable bungee cord lacing system makes adjusting the fit quick and easy as you hop from water to land and vice versa.
-For its cushioning system, this Merrell hiking shoe features the UniFly midsole that absorbs shock well and promotes foot stability on the trail. It is also treated with an antimicrobial solution to help keep your feet feeling and smelling fresh.
This water hiking sandal has a closed-toe construction to provide your foot with as much coverage without sacrificing breathability and ease of movement. The neoprene lining is soft and stretchy, creating a glove-like fit. It also makes use of a bungee cord lacing system which delivers a secure fit while eliminating the need for tying laces. Furthermore, the shoe features an elastic neoprene collar for easy on and off.
Designed for diverse terrains, these water sandals from Merrell are made with Vibram outsoles with grooves along the sides for easy dispersal of water. They have a lug depth of 3mm, which makes them suitable for easy trails, concrete surfaces, rocks, and the like. Also, the All Out Blaze Sieve has a stiffer outsole so you don't feel sharp rocks, sticks, and other trail hazards under your feet.
This lightweight hiking shoe from Merrell uses the UniFly midsole which is soft to the foot and firm to the ground, thereby promoting shock absorption and stability. It's an ideal cushioning system for water hiking shoes when you constantly navigate varying terrains.
Unique to this shoe is its stylish, closed-toe construction. The outer part of the upper is made of waxed Nubuck leather that provides a good level of protection against scuffing and abrasion. Lining the interior is neoprene which is very soft and pliable, and most importantly - dries quickly. The upper also contains antibacterial agents to control odor, which is a very common problem with wet shoes.
