The high-top men's Jordan Mars 270 is available in US men’s sizes. This basketball-inspired sneaker from the Jordan brand features paddings on its collar that delivers exceptional ankle protection and support. Its blend of synthetic leather and mesh upper allows for enhanced ventilation.

Inspired by a few of the most iconic Air Jordan basketball shoes, the Jordan Mars 270 is certain to impress sneakerheads and casual buyers. A mix of design elements from the AJ 1, 4, 5, and 6, it gives a throwback, timeless vibe. Its overall silhouette is similar to its predecessor, the popular Jordan Sons of Mars. The mesh grid on the lateral sides that covers the Swoosh logo connects to the Air Jordan 4, the first AJ shoe that features such detail.

As first peek, one may think that this footwear may not be as versatile as other Jordan brand sneakers. Still, having a pair on your shoe rack is as agreeable as it gets due to its iconic style and sporty appearance.

  Jordan Mars 270 x PSG

Paying homage to a prominent European soccer club, the brand released a collaborative edition of the Jordan Mars 270 that is heavily-inspired by the uniform colors of the Paris Saint-Germain. This fusion of soccer and basketball is a great addition for many Jordan enthusiasts because of its style and feel.

A large, translucent Max Air unit is situated on the midsole of the Jodan Mars 270, which provides superior cushioning for all-day wear. It has soft leather overlays that are reminiscent of the AJ 1. These overlays contribute to the footwear’s durability.

One of the most prolific professionals in the American film industry, actor and director Spike Lee helped the marketing efforts of the Air Jordan series. Lee reprised one of his movie characters, Mars Blackmon, to promote a couple of the earlier AJ shoes. The phrase “It’s gotta be the shoes” that Lee used in the commercials has resonated well with the consumers, and has eventually become a pop culture reference.

In 2006, to celebrate the iconic collaboration between Michael Jordan and Spike Lee, the Jordan brand released the Spizike. The sneaker showcases various elements from AJ models, such as the AJ 3-6, 9, and 20. By 2012, another Jordan-Lee sneaker is released, called the Jordan Son of Mars. Its name came from Lee’s Mars Blackmon character. Similar to the Spizike, its design is primarily inspired by numerous Jordan kicks.

In 2019, Spike Lee’s son, Jackson Lee, conceptualized the Jordan Mars 270. Continuing the theme of using design elements from AJ sneakers, this iteration features details from 4 of the iconic Jordan models.

  • The reflective details are exceptionally visible during night time.
  • Black/green glow/reflect silver, black/starfish/sail, black/gym red/anthracite, and black/gym red/game royal are some of its color options.
