The Asics Gel Epirus comes in a low-top profile with a lace-up closure that secures the foot for a comfortable and supportive fit. Sizes are available for men from US 4 to 14, with half sizes in between, in D Standard (Medium) width.

The Asics Gel Epirus shoes exemplify what old-school classic runners from the early ‘90s are. Those old school-looking shoe from Asics is re-released for the modern market but retained its classic running heritage. Being part of the Asics GEL series, it is known for its GEL cushioned sole that provides lightweight and comfortable cushioning. It also features a quadrate eyelet stay with nylon that helps in giving a secure fit.
Asics Gel Epirus History
Asics first released the Asics Gel Epirus shoe in 1989 as a running shoe for mid and high runners. Always considered a cult classic, the Gel Epirus has made its existence significant in the running community for being the shoe that provides superior cushioning and stability.
After a long hiatus in the shoe market, the classic runner was reissued for the first time in 2013 in two colorways – one in blue and another in brown. Several more colorways followed through the following year, and it has been brought back in production up to this day.
The Asics Gel Epirus features reinforced lace loops, GEL sole unit, rubber outsole, padded tongue and collar, and often with a color-blocked upper. Some of its popular colorways include Mint Green/Purple, White/Black-Red, Aztec, Hanon, Black/Orange, and more.
