This lightweight outdoor shoe for trail lovers is equipped with a Vibram outsole made of a Megagrip rubber compound, making it resistant to wear and tear. Its surface is filled with a Stairstep lug pattern for ground adherence on virtually all types of terrain. The outsole’s front tip covers a small portion of the forefoot area to shield the user’s toes from stubbing.

The North Face Ultra Fastpack IV Futurelight for men and women comes with a patented FastFoam EVA midsole. It is engineered to render a cushioned ride and deliver energy return to the wearer’s every stride. An ESS midfoot shank is incorporated into the midsole for rigidity and underfoot support.

The North Face placed an Ortholite X35 Hybrid footbed on top of the Ultra Fastpack IV Futurelight’s midsole. Its eco-friendly construction is designed to give extra cushioning and underfoot comfort. The footbed’s open-cell polyurethane (PU) composition optimizes air circulation to cool the foot in warm weather.

The North Face Ultra Fastpack IV Futurelight features an upper made of performance mesh. This material is engineered to resist abrasive elements while preserving lightness. A Futurelight membrane is embedded underneath this component to offer protection from wet conditions. Its surface also allows excess to pass through to maintain the upper’s breathability.

This waterproof speed hiker from The North Face uses a series of fabric eyelets for its ghillie lacing system. These components help the user manage the footgear’s fit. The upper is reinforced with no-sew TPU overlays for support and structure.

Its forefoot zone contains a protective toe cap to shield the user’s toes from trail dangers. The shoe’s rearfoot area contains a heel overlay that contains a 3M reflective heel webbing. Apart from providing protection, it also gives visibility in low-light conditions. Two pull loops are positioned on the tip of the tongue and the back of the collar to give easy on and off.
