Good to know

This addition to Puma’s casual-inspired collection is exclusively available in women’s sizing only. While generally running true to size, most of the reviews mention getting this half a size down as the forefoot area tends to be too wide.

Although sold under the women’s category, men are still able to get this in the black-and-white colorway or even the Mist Green/White/Cantaloupe one. After all, it all boils down to the hue of socks one puts beneath the see-through upper.

Slightly padded insoles are removable, allowing others to swap it with one’s orthotics for a more customized fit and support.

Similar to most of Puma’s RS line, when it comes to picking out outfits that best go with the shoe, there is a myriad of options.

  • For a streetwear look, don on some printed socks, a midi skirt, chunky crop sweater, a small crossbody satchel bag, and a pair of the White/Misty Green/Cantaloupe Puma Rise on feet.
  • Riding on the athleisure lifestyle, men can put on gray joggers, white tee, and some Puma Rise in black/white/rosewater effortlessly.

With the mix of various materials on the Puma Rise, it is orchestrated in a very clean and stylish way. Featuring a predominantly translucent ripstop upper allows the wearer to constantly change the overall look of the shoe depending on the socks worn.

Suede and leather reinforce the toe and heel area. Meanwhile, some reflective features highlight this shoe in the form of metallic films on the toe cap and a 3M reflective strip that spans the tongue ending in a Puma wordmark and Jumping Cat logo.

Lastly, a glossy TPU insert, at the heel, is added for stability in coordination with the RS System cushioning insert on the midsole.

Empowering women has been a staple of Puma ever since its Do You campaign in 2016. Enlisting supermodel, Cara Delevingne, to lead this propaganda. This on-going movement was inspired by the famous singer, Rihanna, who took on the Creative Director position in Puma in 2014.

Rihanna is quoted as once saying, “I dare myself to make things work. I don’t do things for the response or controversy. I just live my life.”

The campaign encourages women to inspire confidence, motivation, and unwillingness to compromise on anything less.

The Puma Rise is created for women everywhere. Resembling women, Puma Rise is beautiful, strong, and unique.

  • The Puma Rise features padded tongue and collar for additional support and cushion.
  • Heel and tongue pull tabs for easy on and off.
  • The outsole takes inspiration from the non-slip rubber feature of the Puma Mostro.
