Puma Muse Metal History
The Muse is one of Puma's newest lifestyle silhouettes. Inspired by dance, it features a slip-on sock-like construction for a snug and comfortable fit, clean and minimal aesthetic with minimal brandings, a lace-up closure system combined with elastic straps across the midfoot for a secure fit, a heel pull tab for easy on and off, and an IMEVA midsole for support.
Puma tapped its brand ambassador and supermodel Cara Delevingne in introducing the women's only silhouette to the sneaker world through the Do You campaign which aims to inspire and empower women all over the world. Since its debut, the Muse silhouette has been receiving upgraded versions with different material updates or a few design tweaks here and there. One of these transitions birthed the Puma Muse Metal.
The Puma Muse Metal shadows the original Muse’s overall features except for one. In this rendition, the heel counter is replaced with a metallic diamond-shaped heel piece, which also provides similar support and stability as that in the core model, but gives the shoe added flair and a new identity by making a statement. It released in two colorways named as "Black/Rose Gold" and "Forest Night/ Metallic Bronze" and retailed for $80 a pair.
Puma Muse Metal Style
Constructed with a neoprene upper in a slip-on design, the Puma Muse Metal is an ideal pair of kicks to be included in the must-have, go-to list of many. It drew inspiration from dancing as exhibited by its overall profile both in terms of functional features and visual design. Such resulted to a one-of-a-kind look, especially with its metallic TPU heel piece, that allows flexibility in styling from casual to sporty or street-ready get-ups.
