I like everything about this shoe. The only thing I didn't like was the inconsistency in the traction.
I do think that it is a really good shoe.
Overall, the Under Armour HOVR Havoc 2 is another solid offering from Under Armour Basketball. Traction is solid while also being built Ford tough. Cushion is not quite the perfect blend of plushness and court-feel, but it’s stable and kept me feeling faster than I actually am. Materials, fit and support all really reminded me of the Nike Zoom Kobe 6 which is a huge plus for those that loved how that shoe fit and moved with the foot.
I thought everything else on this shoe was awesome. I just wish that there wasn't that slipping issue. But, like I said, it only happened from time to time.
So the Hovr Havoc 2, personally, didn’t feel like a new shoe to me…I was getting those Hovr Havoc 1.5 vibes since pretty much all of the parts of the shoe did play the same, or at least very similar to the original version, minus a slight decrease in cushion department, and tougher rubber. Everything else – just cosmetic changes that I don’t really like that much. The original pair had the looks, this one, not really.
This is actually a very good shoe for any position.

The UA HOVR Havoc and UA HOVR Havoc 2 provide a similar playing experience on the hardwood. Both these Under Armour basketball shoes are designed to accommodate the broadest range of playing styles. However, the stand out features of the Under Armour HOVR Havoc 2 are the full-length HOVR foam, higher midsole, new propulsion plate, and lower-profile cut. All of these updates make the HOVR Havoc II a more versatile basketball shoe.
