Good to know

The Vans Mod Slip-on is sold in men’s sizing. Yet, it is a unisex shoe so ladies can simply size 1.5 down than their usual to obtain their actual size.

Like other Vans Slip-on shoes, it has a low-top profile that allows skateboarders to move their ankle freely as they execute their flips. It has a gusseted tongue that maintains a flexible and secure fit.

The low-top Vans Mod Slip-On is a testament of heritage styling upgraded with modern comfort and performance. Whether for skateboarding, surfing, or jazzing up OOTDs, it is an all-rounder shoe that won’t disappoint.

This shoe has the classic slip-on style with RapidWeld detailing. Some of its color designs are all black and black and white checkerboard. With its stylish design, it can be a perfect match to cargo pants, distressed denim jeans, track pants, or joggers. Ladies can suit up and enjoy their miniskirts or sundresses with this kick too.

A delightful blend of vintage design and modern performance is a good description of the Vans Mod Slip-On. It is an innovation designed to meet the needs of the contemporary world.

This version of the iconic Slip-On has a RapidWeld detailing on the upper, creating a modern twist and providing weight reduction and bulk elimination. It also features the UltraCush footbed for impact protection and shock absorption as well as UltimateWaffle Outsole for excellent grip. Whether for skateboarding or surfing, you got a functional shoe with the Vans Mod Slip-On.

The iconic Vans Slip-On, or previously known as the Style 98, was initially launched in 1978. It was the brand’s idea to provide a functional shoe without the fuss of shoelaces. With the help of BMX riders and skateboarders, it became an instant hit in Southern California. Needless to say, it has been known as an icon for generations.

Since its introduction, it has been reinterpreted countless times using different materials and colors. Collaborations with various artists, brands, and other entities also happened using this iconic silhouette, which resulted in beautiful masterpieces.

One of its wonderful iterations is the Vans Mod Slip-On, which was released in 2020. It features RapidWeld detailing on the sturdy canvas and synthetic uppers.

The RapidWeld detailing looks like an icy rubber layer on top of a familiar silhouette. It has sleek piping along the edge of the shoe tongue, complemented by a Vans tag on the side and elastic straps. On the midsection of the shoe, you will see mesh panels.

Equipped with the UltraCush insole, it provides cushioning comfort. It also comes with a padded leather ankle collar. For a superior grip, it has a cupsole with a waffle tread.

  • The forefoot and heel counter has a semi-translucent waterproofing coating that helps prevent moisture from seeping in.
