The GO STEP Lite - Dashing from Skechers is a lightweight walking shoe created for women looking for all-day comfort and support. It has a sporty sneaker-like design to accommodate a variety of athleisure activities.

The 5GEN midsole works together with the Goga Max insole to deliver a lightweight and responsive underfoot padding. The incorporated GOimpulse and Goga Pillars sensors make the platform feel more bouncy.

The shoe has no separate outsole as the 5GEN platform makes up a single-unit platform. At the bottom, it features the Goga Matrix design with a webbed pattern to promote flexibility. The textured portions of the unit provide the shoe with its gripping capacity. However, it is not meant to deliver traction on slippery surfaces.

The cushioning function of the GO STEP Lite - Dashing is handled by the 5GEN technology. It is a lightweight yet durable EVA compound which serves to provide energy return upon each step while also protecting the foot and leg against the harmful effect of the impact.

The responsiveness and shock-absorption of the platform are enhanced by the integrated Goga Pillars and separate GOimpulse sensors. They add springiness to the walking gait of the wearer without compromising flexibility or weight.

Inside the shoe, the Goga Max insole contributes to the underfoot support. It offers a memory foam padding under the heel for extra comfort and a custom-feel fit. The insole is not removable.

The Skechers GO STEP Lite - Dashing sports an engineered mesh upper to offer a lightweight and breathable coverage. Its soft and smooth nature aims to keep the foot comfortable.

Synthetic overlays are found at the heel, the collar, and the eyelets. They contribute to the support and durability in these areas.

The shoe’s front panel features fixed stretchy laces. Their purpose is to keep the midfoot secured inside the footwear. The laces are not adjustable which defines the shoe’s slip-on construction. The Quick-Fit aperture at the back helps the foot slide in and out of the trainer fast and easy.
