The Nike Air Max 270 Flyknit is offered in women's and men’s sizes. The kick utilizes an integrated lacing system with Flywire cables as eye stays for a secure and lockdown fit.
The Nike Air Max 270 Flyknit displays a sleek silhouette that exudes a modern sneaker style. The shoe’s streamlined upper combined with the extended heel Air unit displays a futuristic vibe and would look at home amidst today’s best selling shoes. Its use of color blocking elevates the kick's overall design and helps highlight its most important feature – the 270-degree heel unit. Moreover, the stylish colorways can add an attractive focal point to an outfit and add oomph to it.
To accentuate the shoe's good looks, you can pair it with cropped trousers, cuffed jeans, joggers, leggings, or shorts. The ladies can experiment with more outfit options by matching this kick with skirts, dresses, or shorts.
The first thing anybody will notice in the shoe is its extended visible heel Air unit. Once you see its glossy and tall finish, people will know that it is the men’s and women’s Nike Air Max 270. This Flyknit iteration can be distinguished by looking for a dense knit-like construction in the upper as opposed to bigger hole details of the original model.
This kick's color blocking design also helps in creating dimension to a one-piece upper and puts the 270-degree heel unit in the spotlight.
In 2018 Nike unveiled their latest Air Max offering during the "Air Max Month" celebration. This kick was called the Nike Air Max 270, the brand's first 100% lifestyle AM shoe that's equipped with an Air unit. The Swoosh brand described it to be designed with the preciseness of sport performance shoes but with the comfort of the everyday pair.
The Nike Air design team led by Dylaan Raasch, the Senior Creative Director for Nike Sportswear, designed the sneaker. According to the team, the Air Max 270 was a combination of two classic Air Max sneakers from the past – the Air Max 93 and the Air Max 180. The shoe's sock-like fit mimicked that of the Air Max 93's while the overall shape and classic pink heel cup came from the Air Max 180. They also explained that the moniker "270" was derived from the 270 degrees of visible air in the Max Air unit.
A few months later since its debut, Nike revealed a Flyknit version. The Air Max 270 Flyknit offers a more breathable and more supportive upper thanks to the engineered knit material used. It features a more minimal looking design, and it comes with a good amount of colorway options to best suit your personal style.
Despite the shoe’s young presence in the sneaker world, The Nike Air Max 270 Flyknit has been released in an abundance of colorways.
