What is it for? As the name suggests, this pair of walking shoes is intended to help the foot recovery. It is equipped with a plush cushioning unit that allows the foot to relax after a hard workout, practice, or competition. The best way to describe is its a comfortable pair of bedroom slippers that you can wear outdoors.

Compared to the first New Balance RCVRY, the RCVRY v2 has been updated to offer more support. The RCVRY v2 features an updated sole unit that has been shaped to follow the shape of underfoot. The second iteration also features a midfoot panel that enhances midfoot support when the laces are tightened.

Outsole

Protection. The Cush+ foam functions as both the outsole and the primary cushioning unit of the New Balance RCVRY v2. It guards against shock during foot landings for a comfortable walking experience.
