Authentic style of Jordan Generation

The Jordan brand introduces another highly fashionable sneaker, the Jordan Generation, for the new breed of Air Jordan loyalists.

It eliminated the use of hidden laces as seen in the Air Jordan 20, but capitalized on affixing not just one broad strap of Velcro for a secured fit, but three adjustable ones.

Jordan Generation straps

Two of which go way up on the lateral and medial edges of the high upper made even sleeker with the use of metal D-rings as loops.

The mixture of engineered textile and leather on the upper punctuated by wing straps, metallic Jumpman logo, and shiny loops immediately accord an elegant air which makes this cleat-like sneaker well-suited for high-street affairs.

The refined all-white/gold variation perfectly weds with white, ivory, and khaki pants that creases around the lower shin or a slim-fitting one tucked within the adjustable collar. There are other monochromatic shades available which can be fused with several casual wears.

Features of Jordan Generation

Every sneaker under the Jordan label with a Jumpman logo connotes a story pointing to the original iconic Air Jordan lineup.

It is charged with tech features that grant comfort, flexibility, and stability which all translates to solid performance even if this silhouette is built for off-court uses.

Underlying story of Jordan Generation

After coming up with the Air Jordan XI in 1995, one of the highly coveted Michael Jordan sneakers in the series which for the first time incorporated a supportive carbon fiber plate in the sole, the creativity of its designer Tinker Hatfield was challenged once again.

Jordan Generation design

The Jordan Generation is one of the fast-forward renditions added to the growing arsenal of well-celebrated sneakers under the Jordan label.

Taking cues from the Air Jordan 12’s sole construction, the Jordan Generation is built with the same supportive carbon fiber shank plate in the sole.

However, this non-performing model eliminated the Zoom Air property and instead integrated the Nike Air, a flexible bag filled with pressurized air, as cushioning element in the forefoot.

Apart from the AJ 12, the strap and high upper composition of the Jordan Generation has a striking resemblance to the Air Jordan 20. Again conceptualized by Hatfield, this silhouette was in sight two years after Michael’s third and final retirement from the league.
