Good to know
- The Pure Boost technology is leveled up in the form of the Adidas Pure Boost All Terrain. This running shoe is intended for both the trails and the roads and is thus constructed to encourage a responsive and sure-footed ride, either on wet or dry surfaces. It is designed for neutral pronators.
- The outsole features a combination of ATR and STRETCHWEB that go hand in hand in promoting unmatched traction no matter the running condition.
- The boost™ midsole promotes an energized run that is not overly-cushioned, while the knit upper aims for a premium feel without discounting comfort.
The Adidas Pure Boost All Terrain features a standard running shoe length and width; it is recommended to get a shoe that is true to size to achieve a comfortable fit. This shoe is available in men’s width profile of D – Medium. Its semi-curved shape follows the natural curvature of the human foot.
The ATR outsole of the shoe is designed to work similarly to winter tires, enabling resistance against slippage, which is likely to happen when running on wet surfaces.
STRETCHWEB rubber functions by flexing the underfoot for an energized ride. It decreases pressure from foot strike and prevents foot injury. The STRETCHWEB and the ATR technologies work together to provide grip and traction on many types of terrain.
The outsole structure extends a little bit up the medial side of the shoe to permit an optimal level of transition and adequate support for street running and for crossing curbs.
Just like the popular road running shoe, the Adidas Pure Boost, the Pure Boost All Terrain uses the Boost™ midsole. This technology aims to return the same amount of energy that the foot gives. This cushioning system absorbs the impact from foot strike and releases it at take-off, thus resulting in a forward push that is dynamic.
This running shoe does not include a sock liner. It allows the foot to feel the ground more. It also enables the runner to add some custom inserts or orthotics
The Pure Boost All Terrain’s upper is made of a synthetic knit material that is wrapped by a water-repellent film. This feature lets the wearer focus on running, even under wet conditions. The knitted fabric also enables a customized fit as it adapts to the shape of the foot.
As a contrast to other versions of the Pure Boost, the forefoot area of this iteration has a broader structure to give a natural and versatile support during each run.
With a unique tongue construction, the shoe can adapt to various foot shapes, as well as reduce pressure on the foot.
The FITCOUNTER heel counter locks the foot in place and prevents in-shoe wobbling. It also staves off the risk of unintentional shoe-removals.
