Designed with a woman’s foot dynamics and volume in mind, the Puma Basket Heart Soft is available in US sizes 5.5 to 11, including half and full sizes in between. As for the width, this pair of Puma shoes only comes in B - Medium width. The trainer features three sets of wide eyelets secured by a broad, flat ribbon that allows wearers to customize the fit. The tongue and collar are lightly padded not only to prevent chafing but also keep the fit snug.

A shoe under Puma’s lifestyle sneaker catalog, it features an exaggerated bow which is best highlighted when wearing cropped jeans or cuffed pants. Wearing shorts, skirts and even dresses pairs well with the dainty style of the Puma Basket Heart Soft. A simple cropped top or graphic tee with or without a jacket gives off a casual, laid back feel.

Since its initial release in 1971, the Puma Basket Heart has seen little changes aside from the material used on the upper. The Basket Heart Soft employs a nubuck top with a huge satin bow lace-up closure. As for the sole unit, it is constructed from texturized rubber that protects the foot against impact and provides traction on most types of surfaces.

The Puma Basket Heart collection has seen numerous iterations over the years since it was launched in 1971. This women’s model is based on the Puma Basket line that was originally released in the 1960s as a warm-up trainer for basketball players.

Its sleek silhouette and clean lines made it easy to pair with athletic and casual attire, thus quickly gaining the favor of consumers. The upper material used on the Basket Heart collection may vary from one model to another, but the one constant is the brand’s iconic Formstrip seen on the lateral and medial sides of the quarters, like what is present on the Puma Basket Heart Soft.

  • The Puma Basket Heart Soft is available in the following colorways: Smoke Green-Marshmallow, Peacoat-Marshmallow, and Cream Tan-Marshmallow.
  • Gold accents are used on the aglets, eyelets, and the Puma brand and model name.
  • It comes with a second pair of textile laces.
