It has been almost 15 years since he released his signature model. With a cupsole construction, this shoe is one of the most technically advanced skate shoes ever released.

The Vans Ave Pro has a progressive upper built with the Duracap and RapidWeld technology for durability and lightness. It has an insole that is a bit thinner than the UltraCush but enough to provide cushioning comfort.
For excellent impact protection and support, that is where the UltimateWaffle Construction comes in. It is a full-length molded midsole combined with an internal shank, which promotes flexibility and ultimate grip.
With a cupsole construction, it provides excellent shock absorption and protection against hard landings compared to vulcanized ones. Also, it has a waffle outsole that is thicker than usual to deliver improved durability and traction.
