Skechers Skech-Air Element 2.0 - Lomarc History

Robert Greenberg was one of the founders of brands that catered to women’s preferences, L.A. Gear. However, when the L.A. Gear lost market sales in the year, both he and his son were forced out. Not even a year after, he formed a new apparel brand, Skechers. And it became one of the best decisions he made.

Greenberg focused on developing and marketing his brand, aiming to attract young and hip consumers. 1993, he introduced the model chrome dome to the youth, the shoe that put his brand to the chart. The shoe was known to be the footwear version of wear out jeans, which was the current craze at that time. Little did Greenberg knew that the grunge-style street shoe would become a hit.

Now that Skechers is one of the global leaders of apparel brands today, it continues to give rise to more well-constructed shoes. Just like the Skechers Skech-Air Element 2.0 - Lomarc, which contains air-cushioned midsole and air-cooled memory foam insole.
