Salomon XT-6: Keeping the essentials

Originally released in 2013, the XT-6 from Salomon remains a solid and reliable choice among trail racers who tackle ultra distances. Although upgraded with new colorways and materials to give a fresher look, the Salomon XT-6 retains some of the loved features of its parent model:

Stability and comfort combined. The midsole of the running shoe combines two foams with different densities. Given such engineering, the cushioning system strikes a good balance between support, motion control, and plushness.

Pronounced durability. This is especially true in the TPU upper of the Salomon XT-6. It has abrasion-resistant qualities to combat possible wear from sharp elements. To further the shoe's strength, a rubber toe cap is added.

Where can I use it?

The Salomon XT-6 is a trail shoe that's suited for multiple activities. To help you unlock the full capacity of this runner, here's a list of some activities it can handle:

  • 5k trail runs
  • mountain climbs
  • trail hikes
  • trekking
