Vans Slip-On Pro Style
Designed with a very iconic style that needs no introduction, the Slip-on Pro has a low-profile silhouette with a suede upper and canvas sidewalls. There are Vans Pro tabs to the side and the rear of the sneakers and black foxing detail to add the classic Vans edge.
A wide array of colorways are available for the Vans Slip-on sneakers. For this version, some of the colors available are blackout, pearl, white, Alpine, black, and a few more. These sneakers’ versatile design makes it stylish enough to wear with almost anything in one’s wardrobe. Casual and street-style ensembles are what best go with these skating shoes. One can go for a pair of jeans, baggy pants, denim, jogger pants, shorts, and almost any bottom that looks good with the pair.
As for the tops, a basic or graphic tee, oversized shirts, flannel pieces, tank tops, sweatshirts, or basically any kind of top that one is comfortable with will be an awesome match to the slip-on. Moreover, one can definitely shred gnarls and bust grinds with the pair or just wear them to chill in.
Created specifically for skateboarding, these slip-on sneakers are built with an UltraCush insole that delivers impact support and enhanced comfort. Furthermore, the molded UltraCush sockliners keep the foot close to the board as it provides the highest level of impact cushioning. The Duracap reinforcement rubber inlays provide support, unrivaled durability, and unmatched protection in high wear areas such as the toebox and ollie-area.
With Vans’ Pro Vulc Lite construction, the slimmed-down profile offers a flexible board feel with less weight and bulk. At the bottom of the shoes, the original Waffle tread outsole, which is made twice as thick so they would wear longer, gives the shoe a lasting, superior grip and ensures that the board is kept firmly under control.
Vans Slip-On Pro History
In 1966, two brothers named Paul Van Doren and Jim Van Doren established The Van Doren Rubber Company in Anaheim, California. But before Vans became Vans it had quite a history. Paul Van Doren decided to take on the challenge of starting a new sneaker brand with also a new concept.
He partnered with his brother Jim and their long-time business associate Serge D’Elia. All three moved their families to Southern California and set up the operation of the new brand in Anaheim. It took almost a year to put together the self-reliant shoe factory.
With over 50 years in the sneaker industry, Vans are one of the leading skateboarding footwear brands and are an iconic part of skateboarding history. Being the first company to make skateboarding-specific shoes, Vans has been driving the sport forward since the early days and keeps doing so until the present.
With a super stylish team, simple designs, and timeless items of footwear and apparel, Vans will be with us forever. One of the classic pairs that the brand has ever created is the Vans Slip-on Pro. The Slip-On Pro features a low-profile silhouette with Vans signature waffle tread pattern and Duracap construction for unrivaled protection and durability from skateboarding. UltraCush insoles add comfort and impact support, for a shoe that not only looks great but feels good too.
