Showcasing a profile that is “slightly higher than the Vans Old Skool yet shorter than the SK8-Mid,” the Vans Rowan Pro provides enough protection for the ankle while also giving it freedom for movement. This unisex shoe is available in both men’s and women’s sizing.

A “well-balanced” combination between style and functionality, the Vans Rowan Pro delivers a snazzy appeal with a touch of 90s aesthetic. The minimalist design of the shoe that basically channels the classic appearance of a Vans shoe enables it to be flexible and work well as a casual sneaker. Its low-top structure makes it easier for you to style it up and match it with our picked outfits.

How To Wear My Pair Of Rowan Pro?

As versatile as it is, you may keep it casual and relaxed with a simple t-shirt and jeans. You may also take things a little semi-formal with a coat on top of your shirt and a pair of nice fitting jeans. Women may stay casually chic with some cute dresses or with a crop top and high-waisted skirts or shorts combination.

A taller Old Skool yet a shorter Sk8-Mid with a front basically inspired from the iconic Half-Cab, the Vans Rowan Pro features the triple stitching on the high abrasion parts of its combined canvas, mesh, and suede upper. It is also built with Duracap underlays for quality reinforcement that allows it to hold out against long hours of skateboarding.

Known for creating top-performing sneakers, mainly for skateboarding, surfing, and other gears and apparels for urban and punk culture, Vans is among the top sneaker brands in the industry today. Vans has offered multiple sneaker models that has been a part of most people’s lives not just for doing what they love such as skating and surfing but also for keeping up with their daily routine.

Now, the brand offers a new signature skate shoe that is also in honor for the incredibly talented skater, Rowan Zorilla.

                 Who Is Rowan Zorilla?

Arguably, Rowan Zorilla, or more commonly known as “RoZo” among his fellow Vans teammates, is the most naturally talented when it comes to skateboarding. He has been with Vans since 2013 and he has conquered the world of skateboarding with his insane abilities.

A Shep Dawg crew member, Zorilla established a name for himself some years prior to being a part of the crew by showcasing his outstanding talent through parts of their video. He basically started from being a nobody to a pro skateboarder and a part of the Vans and Baker Skateboards teams.

Vans Signature Skate Shoe 2020: Vans Rowan Pro

In 2020, honoring Rowan Zorilla’s sensational, natural talent, Vans finally launched the Rowan Zorilla Shoe and Apparel Collection which is also Zorilla’s first-ever signature collection. The Vans Rowan Pro is the latest signature skate shoe released by Vans and it features two of the brands’ fresh technological innovations that focus on producing a better performance from skate shoes: the SickStick rubber outsole and the removable, molded footbed, PopCush.

SickStick is fabricated from a gum rubber compound exclusively from the brand that delivers improved grip and higher durability. The PopCush is a newly developed midsole foam from the brand that provides enhanced impact absorption and delivers better energy return.

  • The Vans Rowan Pro is initially offered in five different colorways: dark navy blue, desert taupe/black, light denim blue or the mirage, white/gum, and black/white.
  • A waffle-hexagon outsole pattern is showcased by the sneaker.
  • Vans used their classic logo on the tongue branding of the sneaker.
