Designed with a low-profile silhouette, these Vans AVE Pro shoes showcase breathable and durable suede, mesh, textile, and synthetic uppers encased by Vans’ iconic RapidWeld fusing system that offers a much stronger, lighter, and flexible finish than conventional stitching methods. Featuring a reflective ink technique and hi-vis strips, this makes for more heightened visibility in low-light situations. Also, reflective silver Vans logos are noticeable on the sides of the sneakers.

Boasting a sleek and contemporary array of colorways, namely blanc de blanc/black, reflective grey, port royale/rosewood, and black/smoke, these sneakers have signature Engelen style all over. The sneakers can be styled so easily given that they are very trendy and are aesthetically pleasing. A casual or street style ensemble goes best with these Vans. One can pair them with jeans, denim, baggy pants, jogger pants, shorts, and even chinos. As for the top, a graphic or plain tee, cuffed tees, flannel pieces, and any top that one is comfortable with will do.

Fitted with a removable and molded footbed, combined with the Ultimate Waffle construction, reinforced Duracap underlays, and Rapidweld no-sew construction, comfort is unrivaled while withstanding the daily abuse of skateboarding. In addition, a lightweight mesh on the tongue and inner panels provides more breathability. The LuxLiner internal sock-fit construction, with a tongue and internal liner integration, provides a locked-in fit, a more comfortable feel, and improved skate responsiveness.

With enhanced Vans’ cupsole and Ultimate Waffle construction, which is both durable and shock-absorbing, this provides the best high impact support and protection. For the outsole, the original Waffle outsole technology combines built-in impact cushioning, exceptional board control, grip to all surfaces, and an internal stabilizing shank for more balanced support.

In 1966, two brothers named Paul Van Doren and Jim Van Doren established The Van Doren Rubber Company in Anaheim, California. But before Vans became Vans it had quite a history. Paul Van Doren decided to take on the challenge of starting a new sneaker brand with also a new concept.

He partnered with his brother Jim and their long-time business associate Serge D’Elia. All three moved their families to Southern California and set up the operation of the new brand in Anaheim. It took almost a year to put together the self-reliant shoe factory.

Since their conception, Vans’ classic deck shoes have become contemporary footwear icons. With their thick vulcanized rubber soles and molded waffle grips, Vans’ slip-on and lace-up trainers now come in over 60 styles. Vans also have major collaborations with iconic artists and personalities.
