Undercover x NikeLab SFB Jungle Dunk History

The Undercover x NikeLab SFB Jungle Dunk combines elements from three Nike shoes: the Nike Dunk, Nike Air Huarache and Nike SFB Jungle Boot. Behind this creation is the influential Japanese designer from Undercover Jun Takahashi.

Takahashi is known for his revolutionary designs that merge his creative talent with surprising references and whimsical humor. He has been frequently involved in NikeLab projects especially the NikeLab Gyakusou line.

Takahashi's recent idea is brought to life by the fusion of the Nike Dunk upper, the SFB Jungle Boot outsole and tooling and the Air Huarache heel cage. The Undercover x NikeLab SFB Jungle Dunk was born, afterward. The product is a winter-ready sneaker infused with performance that stems from its running, basketball and skateboarding roots.

The Undercover x NikeLab SFB Jungle Dunk was officially released on January 28, 2017 via NikeLab and various online retailers.

Fit & Sizing

The excellent support and hold starts with the high-cut construction, especially for those who love the active life. It continues with the very substantial midfoot cage formed by the very thick leather material. This is a shoe that easily makes a statement for both casual and performance categories.

Without a doubt, the entire Undercover x NikeLab SFB Jungle Dunk is drastically notable in itself because this is practically the most aggressive collaboration that Nike has had with UNDERCOVER. As already explained, the shoe is practically a collage of some of the Swoosh’s best silhouettes. This makes the shoe extremely unique and one that is quite the looker, based on the market feel of this shoe.

Besides the already spectacular combination of different parts of well-known shoes, it also showcases the Undercover trademark motifs of CHAOS and BALANCE. These themes add a more cultural meaning of the shoe and makes it more of a statement rather than just simple casual wear. It is truly one of the most commanding presence in the shoe market today.

As an added bonus, this is a winter-ready shoe that still oozes with lifestyle charm.
