It's 80 bucks. So if you're looking to save money, go ahead and cop a pair of these. I feel like it's one of the...not the best budget model, but it's up there. It's one of the top 3, top 5 best performing budget models this year.
The Micro G in the midsole of the Under Armour Torch Low delivers noticeable court feel and impact protection. This cushioning setup is reinforced by a die-cut EVA sockliner.
Support is of course not compromised. Not only does this shoe feature a webbed lacing system, it is also made of engineered mesh that is sturdy and stretchy enough to contain the foot.
For reliable traction, the UA Torch Low has the proven and tested herringbone on its rubber outsole.
All these features convincingly make the Under Armour Torch an affordable alternative to the pricier models from more famous manufacturers like Nike and Adidas.
Cushion. Players who need a lot of court feel and impact protection will truly appreciate the Micro G that covers the full length of the midsole. This cushioning setup is further reinforced by a die-cut EVA sockliner.
Traction. The low version of the Under Armour Torch features traditional herringbone. This pattern has been proven time and again to deliver maximum grip and control. To allow the foot to flex more naturally, the rubber outsole also features anatomical flex grooves in the forefoot area.
Length and Width. According to some reports, the UA Torch Low does not fit as expected. Because of this, would-be buyers are advised to try this shoe on before buying.
Lockdown. The upper is made of engineered mesh, and it contributes so much to the type of support that the shoe delivers. The Torch Low also has a webbed lacing system to deliver a secure lockdown.
Breathability is not going to be a problem with the Under Armour Torch Low; its upper is made of engineered mesh with fuse overlays on high-wear spots. The tongue is made of a material that Under Armour calls the Air Mesh. This material is padded to deliver top-of-the-foot comfort.
The Under Armour Torch Low sits on a thick midsole. Under Armour logo sits prominently on both the rear lateral and rear medial sides. An ‘UNDER ARMOUR’ callout is on the tongue tab.
The Under Armour Torch Low is released in a number of basic colorways. The following are just some:
- Ghost Gray/White
- Midnight Navy/Midnight Navy
