Updates to Under Armour Threadborne Push

  • The Threadborne Push is just one of the training shoes designed with a woman’s foot in mind. It features a breathable embroidered upper with dynamic webbing loops that provide multidirectional support.
  • The midsole uses the Charged Cushioning foam that gives the trainer its bounce. It absorbs impact during landings and turns it into a responsive bounce during take-offs.
  • The die-cut, full-length EVA sock liner delivers cushioning for a pleasant underfoot feel. It is also engineered to conform to the contours of the foot.
  • It features rubber pods strategically placed on the outsole to protect it from damage. It also serves to enhance traction.

Under Armour Threadborne Push size and fit

The Threadborne Push is only available in women’s sizes. It is true to size, and comes in US sizes 5.5 to 12, including half and full sizes in between. The width of the footwear is B – Medium which fits most foot types.

The Threadborn Push features rubber pods in high-wear areas such as the forefoot and the heel. Rubber is durable and withstands the normal wear and tear associated with training. It is also resilient which allows it to maintain its form even under constant strain from various causes.

The diamond tread pattern serves to add grip on various surfaces. It also supports multidirectional movements.

The midsole uses Charged Cushioning, which is a dense type of foam that is responsive to movements. Sections of it have been cored to reduce the bulk and increase the flexibility of the sole.

Found inside the Threadborne Push is a die-cut, full-length ethylene-vinyl acetate sock liner. EVA is a type of foam that is lightweight and has shock absorption properties. It is designed to keep the foot comfortable as well as deliver a custom fit.

A molded rubber sits atop the Charged Cushioning. It enhances the durability of the midsole and wraps the side of the forefoot to deliver support during lateral movements. Another model to consider if you are a fan of this midsole is the Under Armour Charged Push.

Developed by Under Armour, Threadborne is an embroidered fabric that is lightweight and breathable. It was engineered to provide structure without adding weight and is designed to deliver a snug fit without being too constrictive.

Dynamic webbing loops are found in the forefoot area, side panels and pass around the rear of the shoe. It aims to support the foot during multidirectional movements.

Synthetic overlays protect high-wear areas such as the toe box and heel. They also act as reinforcements to improve support in these areas of the foot.

It uses a traditional lace-up closure with the round laces passing through a small slot on the tongue to keep it from moving out of place. Both the tongue and collar are lightly padded. The padding makes it comfortable to wear and locks the foot down in place.
