The Under Armour Threadborne Fortis is only on model number three, but if the evolution of the model continues, Under Armour could have its first lifetime achievement model.
We like the UA Threadborne Fortis 3s a lot but they’re better as cross training shoes as opposed to pure-play running shoes
They’ve become one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I’ve owned, and I love putting them on for runs, workouts and strolls around town. From mountain trails to neighborhood strolls, my Threadborne Fortis 3 shoes are the no-nonsense pair that I look forward to wearing.
- The Under Armour Threadborne Fortis 3 is a road running shoe that is intended for those who have neutral foot motion. It uses the Threadborne embroidered upper. This technology aims to give more support and breathability.
- Featured on the product is the multi-surface traction outsole pattern. It provides added grip on a broad variety of surfaces.
- The midsole utilizes the dual-layer Charged Cushioning, which is essential in delivering energy return throughout the road running sessions.
The Under Armour Threadborne Fortis 3 follows the standard shoe measurements when it comes to sizing. The shoe is best for runners who want to excel in extended and short-distance road running activities. The available widths are B - Medium for the women's version and D - Medium for the men's version.
The multi-surface traction outsole pattern is integrated into the Under Armour Threadborne Fortis 3. This component of the shoe aims to deliver more traction on different types of surfaces. It is also strategically placed for added protection and support.
Anatomically placed Flex grooves are utilized to make the product more flexible. The purpose of the material is to allow the sole unit of the shoe to follow the natural movement of the runner's foot as it goes through the gait cycle.
Supplying excellent energy return and responsive cushioning were offered by the Dual-layer Charged Cushioning midsole. The technology's purpose is to act as a shock absorber to turn landings into smoother and more explosive heel-to-toe transitions. It is essential in ensuring that the runner's foot is well-cushioned throughout the road running activities.
Additional cushioning to the underfoot area is provided by the Molded Charged Cushioning sock liner. Its goal is to promote a more personalized and customized fit and comfort to the runner. This element is also used in some Under Armour running shoes.
Increased ventilation is delivered by the Threadborne embroidered upper. The creators of this product made this component of the shoe for better flow of air. This technology's primary goal is to keep the runner's foot cool and dry at all times.
For keeping the foot in place, the padded collar and tongue unit are used. They give more cushioning to these particular areas of the shoe.
To promote a more supportive and snug fit, the manufacturers of the Under Armour Threadborne Fortis 3 added an internal ankle cleatie.
