Size and fit

The mid-top Under Armour Street Precision Mid is offered in US women’s sizes, from 5 to 12. Generally, it fits accordingly. However, some said that it runs smaller than the regular size, thus adding at least a size is recommended to get the desired fit. Its flexible and light apparel-inspired upper with subtle perforations offers breathability and comfort while its lacing enclosure is designed to provide a secure fit.

The sporty profile of the Under Armour Street Precision Mid with its contemporary design pairs well with skinny jeans, leggings, or selected Under Armour clothing. It is a viable option for a gym shoe, and because of its casual appeal, wearers will not need to change footwear after working out. Versatile as any shoe could be, the UA Street Precision Mid is an excellent choice for doing strenuous activities, summer strolls, or during casual workdays.

Notable Features

The molded 4D Foam insole conforms to the shape of the foot, minimizing slippage. Its lightweight midsole delivers comfort and stability, which works well for all-day wear. For the shoe's traction and durability feature, rubber paddings are strategically placed.

Under Armour Street Precision Mid History

The athletic brand Under Armour started its business in 1996 by Kevin Plank. He began his empire by designing a Heatgear shirt after toiling on extensive research of different kinds of synthetic fabrics. Thanks to Plank’s efforts, his Heatgear was a hit among sports enthusiasts. It quickly became one of the essentials for those who experienced wearing it. After a decade of existence, the company finally entered into the sneaker industry. The brand started with making shoes for baseball, softball, and lacrosse.

Under Armour released its first performance trainers in 2008. At this point, the brand started to sign prominent athletes such as NFL top linebacker Ray Lewis, UFC superstar George St. Pierre, Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn, and NBA player Brandon Jennings. These signings elevated Under Armour’s public recognition.

The company made a bigger splash in 2010 onwards by signing some of the most popular athletes in the USA. Among these are NBA MVP Steph Curry, NFL’s legendary quarterback Tom Brady, and Olympian tennis player Sloane Stephens, and arguably the most famous swimmer in the world Michael Phelps who are all under contract with Under Armour.

On the brand’s 20th anniversary, it expanded its shoe categories by adding lifestyle sneaker offerings. By utilizing the company's homegrown techs and designs, models such as the Charged, Moda, Street Encounter, and Threadborne became popular with brand loyalists and casuals.

One of the recent additions to the Street Precision series is the Under Armour Street Precision Mid. Not to be confused with the UA Precision Mid, this sneaker has a different material construction and design. Released in 2016, it currently has three color schemes to choose from.
