Updates to Under Armour SpeedForm Gemini Vent

  • Designed for neutral runners, the Under Armour SpeedForm Gemini Vent promises to deliver a good blend of flexibility and cushioning. The shoe uses several Under Armour innovative technologies, namely the Charged Cushioning, Micro G and the SpeedForm construction to give runners an increased performance on the roads.
  • The Charged Cushioning is formulated for responsiveness. It absorbs shock during impact and facilitates high energy return for a powerful toe-off.
  • The Micro G heel unit is strategically designed for stability and support. It also offers added heel protection and comfort.
  • Lastly, the SpeedForm construction offers a comfortable, accurate fit. It molds to the natural shape of the foot and minimizes distractions for a better running experience.

Under Armour SpeedForm Gemini Vent size and fit

The Under Armour SpeedForm Gemini Vent is offered in standard running shoe length. With the SpeedForm technology, the fit is more accurate and comfortable. Regarding the width, the men’s and women’s versions are available in standard D – Medium and B – Medium respectively.

In the outsole of the Under Armour SpeedForm Gemini Vent are the two types of rubber – the high-abrasion and the blown rubber materials. These outsole materials offer durability, traction, and added cushioning.

The high-abrasion rubber is specifically placed in the heel area for increased sturdiness while the blown rubber is placed in the forefoot for increased responsiveness.

A durable Charged Cushioning technology is incorporated into the midsole of the SpeedForm Gemini Vent. This midsole foam offers increased responsiveness and energy-return without adding too much weight. It also offers comfortable underfoot protection during runs.

For additional heel protection and increased stability, the Micro G heel unit is also being utilized. It aims to keep the heel in place for a smoother and supportive ride.

The shoe also has an embedded sock liner which delivers an additional layer of cushioning as well as increased comfort and support.

As the name suggests, the Gemini Vent employs the notable Under Armour SpeedForm construction. It follows the natural mold of the foot for a more precise and comfortable fit.

For a breathable coverage, the shoe uses an engineered mesh. It has enough perforation in the tongue and toe box to keep the foot cool and dry. Along with the mesh upper is the ventilated midfoot panel, which also gives breathability, more specifically in the midfoot area.

The Under Armour SpeedForm Gemini Vent also has a seamless internal heel counter which offers lightweight support and added heel structure.
