Updates to Under Armour SpeedForm AMP Slip

  • The Under Armour SpeedForm AMP Slip is built for women who like to mix style and functionality. It retains most of the features of the original SpeedForm AMP but ditches the lace-up closure for a slip-on design.
  • The slip-on design makes for an easy on-and-off wear, while the form-fitting upper delivers a custom fit. At the back is the thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) heel clip that ensures steadiness of the rearfoot.
  • The trainer utilizes the ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) foam in its midsole. This compound is lightweight, durable and responsive. It also serves to reduce the shock felt by the foot. It features a floating arch design which allows natural arch movements. The inside of the shoe is lined with the SpeedForm sockliner which increases the comfort offered by the midsole. It also wicks moisture away from the foot.
  • The bottom of the footwear is lined with rubber. This hard-wearing material protects the midsole and provides grip on various types of surfaces.

The Under Armour SpeedForm AMP Slip is designed for the unique shape and dynamics of the female foot. It generally runs true to size and is available in US women’s sizes 5 to 12. The trainer comes only in a B - Medium width profile.


Rubber lines the underside of the Under Armour SpeedForm AMP Slip. This compound is made to be durable and provide traction. The tread pattern is designed to grip various types of indoor and outdoor surfaces. The outsole also features strategically placed flex grooves that promote flexibility in multiple directions.


The EVA foam midsole of this Under Armour workout shoe is intended to be responsive. It also provides a comfortable platform that attenuates shock.

The shoe sports a floating arch construction which is designed to facilitate natural arch movements. There’s also an internal stability shank that supports the arch during explosive movements to prevent straining or injuries.

The footgear utilizes the SpeedForm sockliner which adds another layer of comfort. This seamless liner also draws moisture away from the foot to keep it dry throughout the workout.


The upper of the Under Armour SpeedForm AMP Slip is built using the SpeedForm technology. This seamless construction starts from the insole and extends to create a heel cup and the rest of the upper.

The slip-on design makes it easy to wear or take off the trainer. The form-fitting upper creates a precision fit that allows the footgear to move naturally with the foot. It also prevents accidental shoe removal.

The external TPU component at the back of the shoe forms a heel counter. It maintains the shape and provides additional support that keeps the rearfoot steady.
