Updates to Under Armour Speedfit 2.0

  • The Under Armour Speedfit 2.0 is a mid-cut hiking boot that emphasizes fit, comfort, and lightness for outdoor enthusiasts. Unlike the first version, this footgear has an ESS rock plate which improves underfoot protection and stability.
  • The design was also changed. The previous model’s accents are found on the quarter panel. For this version, the accents start from the tongue all the way to the vamp. The lumps seen on 2nd version’s sole unit (seen from the side) also look chunkier.
  • The boot’s synthetic and textile upper is designed to be lightweight and breathable. Its ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) midsole provides cushioning and support. Moreover, the footwear’s rubber outsole renders traction on a variety of surfaces.

Size and fit

Under Armour’s Speedfit 2.0 is offered in standard width for men and women. It is available in whole and half sizes. The boot fairly runs true to size.

This mid-cut hiker uses a regular lace-up closure for a personalized lockdown. The anatomically molded upper grants a snug fit to the wearer.

The Speedfit 2.0 from Under Armour is equipped with a rubber outsole. A pattern of aggressive lugs dominates its surface to deliver grip on virtually all types of terrain. The sole’s front section extends upward to provide additional protection against stubbing.

The Under Armour Speedfit 2.0 uses a midsole made of lightweight EVA foam which grants cushioning and support. An ESS rock plate is embedded inside the boot for improved stability and underfoot protection. The gear’s Ortholite sockliner contains anti-microbial technology to prevent the user’s foot from smelling bad.

This Under Armour product features an upper that combines synthetic and textile fabric. These materials make the boot lighter and more breathable without compromising sturdiness.
