Updates to Under Armour Speed Tire Ascent Low

  • The Under Armour Speed Tire Ascent Low is a neutral road running shoe that provides one of the best levels of traction. The lightweight design and structure of the shoe are built to improve and enhance speed. Its low profile enables runners to go fast while protecting them from the potentially hazardous debris on the trails.
  • The Upper features the UA Storm Technology. This material wraps the shoe in a water repellant and protective coating that keeps the runner's foot cool and dry at all times. In the midsole area is the Micro G Cushioning. This bouncy material provides cushioning throughout the running activity. The Michelin Wild Gripper Outsole provides traction and is used to effectively handle a wide variety of terrains.

Under Armour Speed Tire Ascent Low size and fit

The Under Armour Speed Tire Ascent Low is a responsive neutral road running shoe. This is best suited for runners who want to excel in a more rugged trail session. When it comes to sizing, it has a standard running shoe length. The available widths are D – Medium for the men's version and B – Medium for the women's version.

Outsole

The outsole of the Under Armour Speed Tire Ascent Low utilizes the Michelin Wild Gripper. This material is inspired by the same tires that are used on "fat bikes". It provides enough grip in different settings and conditions. Runners are able to confidently continue with their running activities without worrying about the level of traction that the shoe will provide.

The outsole utilizes a Multi-Directional Lugs that are aggressive and small. These are strategically designed to provide a maximum amount of traction and performance under any conditions. The unique design and shape of the shoe give runners a better platform to skip over roots, dirt, slopes and rocky surfaces with ease and comfort.

Midsole

The midsole of the Under Armour Speed Tire Ascent Low utilizes a Micro G Cushioning. This material has the ability to absorb shock from the heel strike and converts the impact into a forward motion for better and faster takeoffs. Underneath the Micro G is a more cushioned and softer midsole foam that is designed to stave off hard rocks and roots that are found on the trails.

It has a Charged Cushioning sock liner that molds to the contours of the runner's foot. This is significant in adding comfort and promoting a more personalized fit.

Upper

The upper area of the Under Armour Speed Tire Ascent Low is made of a flexible and lightweight material. This is called the Soft-Shell Upper. This technology maximizes the runner's speed while getting rid of hard debris that is found on different trails. The mesh upper is covered with a Rubberized Print that provides added durability and protection without sacrificing the shoe's weight. Runners are given the chance to be confident enough to know that their feet will be protected against hazardous elements during their running sessions.

Under Armour's Storm Technology is also utilized in the upper. It is made up of a water-resistant coating that protects the runner's foot. This is very important in keeping the foot cool and dry throughout the run. The closed mesh is designed to prevent water from entering while allowing proper air ventilation into the shoe. Even though the upper is covered with layers of protection, the shoe is still lightweight and breathable.
