All in all, for $125 USD there are much better performers out there.

Profile of the Under Armour ClutchFit Drive 3

The Under Armour ClutchFit Drive 3 is a major upgrade from the previous version. Under Armour recognized what went wrong with the ClutchFit Drive 2 and went back to what worked with the original version. They brought back full-length Micro G foam and an updated ClutchFit upper.

Performance

Cushion. Under Armour combined two of their cushioning technologies in the third iteration of the ClutchFit Drive. The ClutchFit Drive 3 features a full-length Micro G foam layer that turns cushioned landings into explosive takeoffs. A layer of Charged cushioning is placed under the heel area to help absorb impact & convert it into responsive comfort.

Traction. Herringbone covers the outsole of the Under Armour ClutchFit Drive 3. Diamond-shaped insets are strategically placed under the forefoot area for enhanced control and traction.

Fit

Length and Width. The Under Armour ClutchFit Drive 3 fits true to size; however, some users reported that they run a little small and narrow. Wide-footers may need to go up half a size.

Lockdown. The Under Armour ClutchFit Drive 3 features an innovative bear-trap lacing system. The eyelets run through the tongue for a tight and locked-in fit.

The shoe’s external heel counter, internal shanks, achilles pillow, and Ortholite sockliner add stability and keep the entire foot locked in place.

Material

The ClutchFit technology was updated for the Under Armour ClutchFit Drive 3. This new upper breathes, stretches, and supports the foot better than ever before.

Style

ClutchFit extends to the high-cut ankle collar providing support while still maintaining flexibility. The shoe’s cut allows you to wear an ankle brace if needed.

The Under Armour ClutchFit Drive 3 is definitely a team shoe. It has a wide array of colorways that range from Tropic Pink to Team Royal.
