Who should NOT buy it

If your rather stout toes need extra space, look in the direction of the Vans Half Cab instead. Also, trade the ComfyCush Old Skool for the Vans Old Skool if you want a pair that breaks in pretty quickly.

Vans ComfyCush Old Skool: Revamped for the better

Gone are the days when Vans sneakers are fitted with regular insoles. With the introduction of the ComfyCush line, the brand has put its shoes through a rebirth as the original silhouettes, such as the Authentic, Era, SK8-Hi, and Old Skool, were revamped with one-piece exteriors, foam midsoles, and added arch support.

Compared to the regular Old Skool model, the ComfyCush version now boasts a first-class fit and a cloud-like cushioning system. This kick, however, still features the signature waffle tread pattern on its rubber outsole. That said, some of its sections were removed to increase its overall flexibility. This redesign also made the shoe even lighter.
