Use - The Under Armour Speedform Miler Pro 2 is engineered to deliver high performance in mid-distance races. With its composition, the athlete can expect a distraction-free, grippy running experience.
Spike Type - Designed for propulsive toe-off, there are 6 pyramid spikes supplemented to the track shoe’s forefoot. These are ¼-inch in length, digging into the track surface for stability and heightened momentum.
Spike Plate - Patterned after the configuration of most track and field spikes, the Speedform Miler Pro 2 is equipped with a ¾-length Pebax® plate. It keeps a stiff quality that maximizes the runner’s pace while employing minimal weight.
- In order to better the quality of the already-established Speedform Miler Pro series, this second iteration poses for better ventilation. To achieve such a feat, a Threadborne embroidered upper is integrated into the shoe’s fashion.
- Since the running spike has kept a good reputation in the market for its qualities, it has maintained some of the previous model’s components. For this version, a sharkskin heel is still incorporated. It has slip-resistant properties, helping improve traction.
- The same ¾-length Pebax® plate is outfitted to the outsole for unparalleled grip. It also enhances the middle-distance spike’s sturdiness.
The Under Armour Speedform Miler Pro 2 is available in unisex sizing that is in standard width. Because it follows men’s sizing scale, it is recommended that women deduct 1.5 from their usual size preference. This is to aid in achieving an accurate fit and size.
For a foot-conforming, comfortable wrap, the Speedform Miler Pro 2 is graced with an updated Threadborne upper. Its lace-up fastening system enables an adjustable fit.
For aggressive traction, a 6-pin Pebax® plate, which is ¾ in length, is supplemented to the Speedform Miler Pro 2’s outsole. Because it houses the shoe’s removable spike pins, it can accommodate the varying needs of the athlete.
It maintains a featherlight composition while permitting a rigid quality to improve the user’s speed. It also increases the shoe’s durability, allowing it to withstand highly abrasive track elements.
Situated in the heel area of the running spike is a sharkskin outsole. It intensifies the grip of the shoe on the track surface. The same outsole material is also found in the Nike Zoom D and Adidas Adizero LJ.
An EVA foam midsole is embedded on the Under Armour Speedform Miler Pro 2’s midsole. It helps absorb the shock upon impact, preventing any foot injury.
The EVA foam also supplies in-shoe cushioning, promoting comfort and support.
One of the notable updates made to the Speedform Miler Pro 2’s is the implementation of new upper material—Threadborne technology. It is responsible for the tight-fitting, secure wrap of the track spike around the foot. It is also very comfortable and preserves an irritation-free experience.
The Threadborne upper has several perforations that let air into the platform for breathability. Therefore, it advances a healthy foot environment.
For a customizable fit, a classic lacing system is welded to the upper. This is to help prevent unwanted removal of the shoe in the middle of both training and competition.
