Size and fit

The sneaker is designed as a slip-on with adjustable laces running along a curved tube on the side panels to let one control the right fit. An elastic heel strap also secures the foot in place. Comfort is provided by the dual-layer mesh and soft foam which sits on top of a Charged Cushioning midsole for maximizing energy return.

The sneaker is made for men and women that are available in full-size runs including half sizes. Women can grab a pair starting from a length of 5 to 11 while men can choose from sizes 7 to 13. The RailFit is constructed in medium widths.

Under Armour RailFit Style

The simplicity of the sneaker makes it more fashionably palatable for users who like a low profile look. The RailFit system aesthetically divides the upper's design into two distinct patterns. The method of lockdown also projects a sporty image that would coincide with jeans or shorts for men and yoga pants or jeggings for women. Partnering the black colorway with business casual clothes will also be adequate as the drape of the pants would emphasize the red outline of the RailFit tube and the black hue.

Notable Features

The iconic attribute of the UA RailFit would be its system of snugging called the Rail fit lacing system. This type of lockdown phenomenon consists of moveable lace loops that slide back and forth along a rail on each side.

Under Armour RailFit History

From sweating profusely in college to making billions of dollars every year, Kevin Plank has made a name for himself and is one of the wealthiest people in the world as of date. He started selling moisture-wicking tees in 1996 and several brilliant moves later, made a company that would level that of Nike and Adidas when it comes to sports apparel.

Under Armour was an underdog a few decades ago but its innovative ideas and revolutionary appeal made it rise abruptly in the sportswear food chain. By hitting the right points of catering essential portions of the sports market, Under Armour expanded their catalog even to include lifestyle sneakers.

One of its innovative ideas was the UA RailFit which pulls out the sliding hardware concept from bags and backpacks and injecting it into a shoe. The tugging system introduced a new and unique way of securing the fit and was probably the brightest marketing tools ever to surface the planet.
