Good to know

Designed to deliver more comfort, traction, and control, Under Armour’s latest signature model allows Stephen to speed up his game and take control of the action.

To match his unique playing style, the latest Curry basketball shoes give importance to a more supportive fit and a lighter feel. Crafted with more knit and less synthetic materials, the Curry 4 Low makes for a faster, lighter, and more comfortable basketball shoe.

From breaking down the defense with his ankle-breaking dribble moves to draining game-winning threes, the Under Armour Curry 4 Low enables Stephen to do everything on the court.

Cushion. The Under Armour Curry 4 Low features a full-length speed plate that provides performance containment and underfoot structure.

The speed plate is specifically designed to withstand explosive movements so you can push the pace and sprint quickly up and down the court. The low-profile EVA midsole offers increased responsiveness.

Traction. Featuring a new cross-centric pattern, the traction of the Under Armour Curry 4 Low is inspired by Einstein’s theory of gravitational waves.

Made of durable rubber, the cross-centric pattern on the outsole optimizes heel to toe traction to amplify on-court grip.

Length and Width. The Under Armour Curry 4 Low runs true to size but is reportedly very snug. Testers highly advise trying these basketball shoes in-store first before ordering. They also note that once the materials break-in, the fit becomes one-to-one.

Lockdown. Aside from the lace-up closure, the support and lockdown of the Under Armour Curry 4 Low mainly comes from its knit upper construction.

Creating the perfect structural fit around the forefoot and collar is a knit internal sleeve. The knit sleeve offers a comfortable and locked-in fit while a microfiber synthetic quarter panel provides ideal support without the extra weight.

The full-length speed plate also helps lock the foot in place by delivering enhanced containment. The speed plate wraps around the heel and forefoot, providing lateral stability and forefoot flexibility.

The Under Armour Curry 4’s upper is constructed with a knit internal sleeve reinforced by a microfiber synthetic quarter panel for a comfortable yet supportive feel. Dynamic seam taping is used to bond the knit material with the synthetic quarter panel seamlessly.

The latest addition to Stephen’s signature line arrives as a low-top model that make optimal movements possible. Under Armour lead designer Kort Neumann said in an interview that the UA Curry 4 is an expression of their study in minimalism. Crafted with a predominantly knit upper, the Curry 4 Low’s stylish and streamlined silhouette is quite distinct from its high-top counterpart. Subtle Steph-inspired design elements are found on the outsole while his SC30 logo is seen on the shoe’s lateral side.

After the Curry 4’s relative success, Under Armour struck while the iron was hot and launched a low-top silhouette. These low-top basketball shoes come in both tonal and striking hues.
