Good to know

The C1N Trainer is the fruition of the collaboration between soccer quarterback Cam Newton and Under Armour. It is designed as performance workout footwear with a stylish twist.

Some parts of the Micro G midsole are exposed to the ground, but most of the underside is reinforced with translucent rubber in the high abrasion areas. The compound is durable and flexible. Mini-nubs cover the outsole of the Under Armour C1N Trainer. This design ensures traction on any surface.

The Under Armour C1N Trainer utilizes a full-length Micro G foam. This cushioning platform is engineered to be lightweight and responsive. Its low-to-the-ground profile also allows it to be steady during workouts. Inside the midsole is the TPU shank which supports the arch area and prevents twisting of the sole unit to keep the foot steady.

The heel section features an additional layer of the Charged Cushioning. This crash pad aims to attenuate shock and keep the foot comfortable.

Inside the shoe is a molded ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) sockliner. This component is durable, flexible, and enhances the shock absorption of the sole unit to prevent injuries.

The Under Armour C1N Trainer employs the Threadborne knit upper. This proprietary fabric provides a locked-in fit. The material has a stretchy characteristic that allows it to conform to foot movements and different foot types. A flexible strap is placed on the forefoot area to deliver support during side-to-side movements.

The rear section uses synthetic leather to support the ankle. It has a flexible strap that wraps around the heel. This structure acts as an external counter that steadies the back of the foot and prevents it from slipping out.

Though the footgear sports a cleatie construction, it still features a lace-up system. The laces allow users to customize the fit in the midfoot for a more secure fit.

Another celebrity trainer from Under Armour is the Project Rock 2. Designed in close partnership with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, it also employs a mid-cut upper and the Micro G cushioning to help the wearers achieve their best results at the gym.
