As the first-ever laceless leather soccer shoe by Umbro, the brand undoubtedly pushed the envelope when the Umbro Medusae 3 Elite was released. This premium model makes use of a kangaroo leather upper known for its softness and fit. In the forefoot, debossed flex grooves are featured which are inspired by the Speciali. In addition to this, the low-cut knitted collar secures the foot lockdown and stability.
The outsole of this Umbro firm ground model is made from TPU. Lightweight and flexible, the area carries a total of twelve studs. It features a combination of bladed and conical ones to ensure traction and grip in firm ground courts.
Similar to the Adidas X 19+ FG, the model makes use of a one-piece kangaroo leather upper paired with a laceless construction. The material hugs the foot while ensuring a soft and comfortable feel for the wearer. Hand in hand with this is a knitted low-cut collar that secures the shoe in place.
A premium kangaroo leather upper is used for the third release of the Umbro Medusae Elite series. This leather type is well-known for its softness and fit. Over time, the leather stretches over time, molding into the shape of the wearer’s foot. With its low-cut knitted collar, it affords the wearer a wider range of movements while ensuring a secure fit.
Additionally, embossed flex grooves are incorporated into the forefoot area. This feature has been inspired by the brand’s Speciali silo and is meant to deliver a better ball touch and control. A conspicuous Umbro logo found on the lateral side of the shoe.
