Good to know

  • The award-winning 4th version of the Skechers GOrun offers high quality performance with a soft yet robust upper, a mid-sole unit that carries the foot well through the gait cycle, and an outsole that promotes natural foot mechanics & and ground feedback.
  • Moving away from the traditional mesh upper of the GOrun 3, this version uses a soft fabric that resembles cloth. It follows the natural motion of the foot and gives it a well-ventilated running experience.
  • The Resalyte® is a full-length mid-sole foam that delivers flexible cushioning to the runner. It’s one of the most robust and high-quality compounds on the market and it’s reliable in doling out its purpose. The foot stands on a comfortable platform because of this material.
  • The outsole unit features pods that deliver additional cushioning. Sensors on specific sections of this unit protects the sole unit from wear and abrasion, as well as traction.

The Skechers GOrun 4 has a standard running shoe length. It comes in sizes that follow the regular measurements in terms of length, just like the GOrun 6. It’s heel, mid-foot and forefoot sections have a medium width, thus allowing it to accommodate many foot types. The semi-curved shape of this shoe also allows the natural shape of the foot to fit well when wearing it.

The GOimpulse Sensors are circular pods on the outsole that add a layer of protection for the shoe. It also maintains ground contact and gives feedback to the runner. These outsole pods give traction and added support when it comes to the performance.

The external sole unit isn’t rigid or unwieldy. It can flex and move along with the foot. Spaces in between the circular pods of this layer allow the sole unit to bend and go back into place like flex grooves would.

The Resalyte® full-length foam is an injection-molded mid-sole unit that delivers natural flexibility and responsible cushioning. It also protects the foot from the potential discomforts brought about by impact shock. Its memory retention capability lets it mold itself to the shape of the foot pad, making the platform individually unique for each user.

The Resalyte® Power Pillar cushioning gives responsiveness to the platform. The underside of the foot is able to feel a soft support system that carries the foot well even during long-distance races. Comfort and responsible cushioning are the specialties of this mid-sole technology.

The M-Strike is a mid-sole unit that adds a bit more volume to the mid-foot section of the platform. Having such a unit encourages runners to strike on the mid-foot, thus ushering the foot towards better gait mechanics. Impact absorption and transitions become easier and less tasking.

The Go Knit is a cloth-like material that’s used in the upper of the GOrun 4. It delivers a sock-like fit that’s comfortable, breathable and non-irritating to the skin. It constantly lets air into the shoe to maintain a dry and cool environment for the foot at all times.

A finger loop at the back of the heel helps the runner wear or remove the shoe easily. This Quick Fit Portal makes it easier to pull on the heel and get the foot in the shoe.

The Vari-lock lacing system adds an additional lace eyelet to add more security to the heel. When the shoelaces are looped in the second eyelet, the shoelaces are given the capability to pull the collar forward and secure the foot even more.

The Ortholite Sock Liner is a foot bed that has anti-microbial and anti-moisture features. It adds a bit of cushioning and keeps the interior of the Skechers GOrun 4 clean and healthy at all times.
