Shock-absorbent outsole

The Flex Appeal 2.0 - Simplistic uses the FlexSole 2.0 midsole as its outsole. This material is lightweight, durable, flexible, and shock-absorbent. It partially extends to the front of the shoe and serves as a protection from impact and abrasion.

The Flex Appeal 2.0 - Simplistic uses an Air Cooled Memory Foam insole. This foam instantly conforms to the contours of the foot’s sole. Unlike other memory foam technologies, this version is breathable to keep the inside of the shoe fresh.

Enhanced platform stability

The Dual-Lite midsole is a lightweight, dual-density type of cushioning unit. The soft section absorbs the force of impact to prevent injuries to the lower extremities, while the firm part delivers stability during intense training.

The FlexSole 2.0 is another layer of shock-absorbing foam. It is also lightweight, flexible and durable as it doubles as an outsole.

The Skechers Flex Appeal 2.0 - Simplistic's upper

The Skechers Flex Appeal 2.0 - Simplistic utilizes mesh for the upper. This fabric is breathable, allowing heat to dissipate and keep the inside of the shoe well-ventilated.

Synthetic overlays are found on the toe-box to guard against abrasion. There’s also one on the back that serves as an external counter to prevent accidental shoe removal.

Trubuck overlays in the midfoot area not only protect the mesh from abrasion but also enhance the lateral support offered by the shoe.

Lacing system for optimum support

A traditional lacing system keeps the foot inside the trainer. Thin cables integrate with the eyelets. Tightening of the flat laces applies tension to the strings which to provide optimum support on the sides of the foot.

The plush tongue serves as a barrier between the instep and the laces, keeping the top of the foot comfortable even when the laces are tightly tied.

Anti-chafing rearfoot section

The padded collar supports the ankle and prevents chafing. It also ensures that the back of the foot will not slip out while on the move.

Lining the inside is a soft fabric that aims to deliver an agreeable in-shoe feel. It allows the foot to glide smoothly when the shoe is being put on or taken off.
