User reviews:

Saucony Echelon 8 vs 7

The Echelon 8 from Saucony, although retaining some features from its predecessors, offers the following enhancements for an upgraded running experience:

Improved comfort and responsiveness. This time around, the road running shoe utilizes the brand’s PWRRUN foam which offers better energy return and plushness than the 7’s midsole.

More flexibility and durability. Because of the Tri-Flex outsole of the neutral runner, the natural bend of the foot is promoted for unrestrained motions. It also increases the strength of the outsole, maximizing protection from the harsh ground elements.

Who is it for?

The running shoe has ample space and comfort for orthotics, so it fares well especially for the following:

  • Flat-footed runners
  • Runners with Morton's Neuroma
  • Road racers
  • Daily runners and joggers
  • Mid-distance and long-distance athletes
