The Salomon X Crest GTX is a low-cut hiker for men and women. It features the SensiFit construction system that wraps or cradles the foot from the midsole to the lacing system for a secure, glove-like fit. Lining the shoe interior is the Gore-Tex waterproof membrane. While waterproof membranes tend to cause overheating, the mesh fabric in the upper allows for some breathability.
