Good to know
What is it for? This trainer is built to deliver walking comfort. However, its cushiony midsole makes it an excellent choice for quick, short runs around the neighborhood.
Who is it for? Men who would appreciate having this in their collection of shoes include those who:
- are in search of cheap walking shoes;
- like trainers with a slim silhouette;
- prefer lightweight footwear for everyday wear.
Grip. The Reebok PennyMoon features an exposed midsole. This means that the foam unit makes contact with the ground. However, the heel zone is reinforced with a rubber layer to prevent early degradation of that area. It also enhances the traction under the heel.
Shock absorption. The midsole of the PennyMoon is made of FuelFoam. This is a foam technology that delivers both shock attenuation and responsiveness. The cushioning unit ensures that the foot will be protected with each step, thereby providing comfort during extended periods of walking.
Coverage. Mesh and textile makes up the top of the Reebok PennyMoon. Mesh allows air to pass, keeping the interior fresh even after a long day of walking.
Meanwhile, the textile is used at the heel section to provide a sturdier hold. The inside walls are also lined with soft fabric that amplifies in-shoe comfort.
Lockdown. A traditional lacing system is used on this walking trainer. The shoestrings can be loosened or tightened to achieve a comfortable foothold.
Light padding is used on the tongue and the collar. The soft foam helps with the snug fit of the upper as well as comfort.
