The Reebok Ever Road DMX is an athleisure shoe created to give cushiony underfoot comfort during both athletic walking and casual urban walks. Responsible for a smooth and padded heel-to-toe transition is the DMX FLOW unit. It works together with the air pods in the outsole to render an air-cushioned ride.

The Ever Road DMX employs durable rubber to ensure wear-resistance on concrete pavements. The moving-air pods are placed throughout the unit as part of the cushioning technology. They are located symmetrically and are molded into the rubber to afford a steady heel-to-toe transition. These pods are also made grippy to deliver traction on various indoor and outdoor surfaces.

This Reebok shoe relies on the DMX FLOW unit for shock absorption and rebound. The brand describes it as a bladder-less moving air technology. The air is contained in the outsole pods and transitions inside the sole as the wearer goes through the walking gait cycle.

This system is incorporated into the full-length foam compound. It is made thicker in the heel section to maximize impact dissipation upon heel strike.

An ultra-soft, full-foot Memory Foam sockliner is added on top of the cushioning unit. It contributes to the plush underfoot comfort.

The trainer makes use of a one-piece mesh upper for supportive coverage and a sleek look. It is a tightly-woven mesh material with jacquard-resembling texture.

The Ever Road DMX receives support during side-to-side movements from the synthetic quarter panels. They extend up to the instep, integrating into the lacing system by using two pairs of eyelets. The panels draw together to lock down the foot when the laces are tightened.

Supporting the fit and stability in the rearfoot is an angled heel cup. Its elastic nature allows it to stretch when the foot needs it but keeps the foothold secure once the shoe is on.

The low-cut design of the trainer provides freedom of movement for the ankle. However, the back of the collar is extended and padded to prevent the shoe from slipping off.
