History of Reebok Classic Harman Run
Reebok is among the world’s most influential brands when it comes to footwear, alongside Nike, Adidas, and PUMA. The brand’s roots could be traced back all the way to 1895, when Joseph William Foster founded a shoe label in Bolton, England. Through his company J.W. Foster, he created innovative spiked running shoes, one of the first to do so.
The company evolved into J.W. Foster and Sons when Foster’s two sons joined him in the business. Their pioneering streak in creating sports sneakers made them well-known among athletes.
By 1958, the torch passed on to Joe and Jeff Foster, two of the founder’s grandsons. It was then that they created what was to be a companion company called Reebok, named after the African antelope grey rhebok.
This shoe has a classic Reebok silhouette, making it ideal to add to one’s footwear rotation for a throwback appeal. It has a full-length smooth leather upper that could add aplomb to one’s look with each step.
A strong heritage vibe is carried by the sneaker’s side profile, featuring an iconic 1980s shape. With modern fashion’s fondness for anything retro, a pair of these kicks could not go wrong for one’s everyday styling.
