Puma Suede Elemental Style

One of the most recognizable Puma sneakers, the Suede Elemental is made to look like the classic Puma Suede but with an upgraded hairy suede leather upper from an acrylic wool material. It has a fat lace closure for a snug fit and a rubber outsole for grip. It exhibits a simple style with the tonal matte Puma Formstrip located on both sides of the shoe.

Notable Features

The Puma Suede Elemental can easily be distinguished from the rest for its hairy suede acrylic wool material that is added to the classic silhouette of the Suede classic. It is often customized with a pair of fat laces as its signature look.

Puma Suede Elemental History

The Puma Suede was originally released in 1968. In 1973, basketball star Walter “Clyde” Frazier asked Puma for a custom-made pair of the Puma Suede trainers, giving birth a variation of the Suede known as Clyde. This made Frazier as the first ever basketball player to have a shoe named after him. Popularized in the ‘80s, the Suede has been one of the top choices among trend-setters. It was everywhere.

In the ‘90s, the Suede made its way to the hip-hop era and remained to still be popular until today. It has been worn for generations to generations and has gained a spot to be one of Puma’s most iconic sneakers of all time.

The Puma Suede Elemental is an upgraded version of the Puma Suede Classic with a material update using acrylic wool on the upper. Like the classic, the Suede Elemental also remains a favorite among many sneakerheads and casual consumers.
