Puma Grip Fusion comes back bearing style and comfort improvements. Updated and called the Grip Fusion Sport, this trainer is now equipped with the latest advancements that the brand has to offer.

One of the significant changes that have been done is alternating the leather upper with mesh. This update is meant to infuse breathability during hot months.

Both versions of the Grip Fusion utilize a FusionFoam midsole, which comes extremely handy when planting the foot on the ground. The Sport version, on the other hand, brings in another cushioning system, though Soft Foam, which boosts the comfort level of the shoe up a notch.

The bottom of this item is clad with a spikeless outsole. The lugs are mindfully-styled with organic traction. Inspired by nature, the crevices are positioned in proper zones to have an adequate grip on the ground.

The cushioning system of the Grip Fusion Sport is composed of a blend of two foams. One of which is the Soft Foam. It has two distinct layers to get the perfect mix of fit, durability, and comfort.

Combined with the midsole mixture is the FusionFoam, a blend of an incredibly soft EVA foam and a very responsive rubber. It achieves not only comfort but an increased energy return ideal for long-distance walking and powerful swings.

The majority of the shoe is built with a mesh material. Though it is a rarity in golf shoes because of water protection, it is ideal for those on the hunt for a breathable material when the weather’s perfect on the range or course.

While it wraps the foot comfortably, the traditional lace-up closure assists in securing the foot in place. The Grip Comfort Last highlights a rounded toe shape to accommodate the foot as the toes spread when planting the swing.

Like most Puma golf shoes, the looks of the Grip Fusion Sport draw on the athletic and modern spectrum. Mesh comprises most of the shoe, creating an interesting style accent because of the texture that it brings. Other than that, the overall look of the shoe is kept minimal and straightforward. The leather Formstripes on the sides serve as the only identifier of the shoe’s brand. It also creates a contrast that gives depth to the overall look of the shoe.
