My Rating

  • The Puma Fierce Rope EP is a training shoe that exudes feminine vibes. Its design inspiration stems from the NYC ballet. This lightweight trainer is able to combine fashion and function for women who want a workout shoe that doesn’t sacrifice style.
  • The upper is made of a soft-woven fabric. The intricate pattern not only adds to its aesthetics but also allows air to circulate inside the foot chamber.
  • Like other Fierce Rope models, the webbed eyelets are spaced wide apart to deliver a more custom fit when the laces are tightened. The laces also go around the back of the foot for a locked-down fit.
  • This version also retains the iconic sole unit of the Puma Fierce line. The foam midsole is constructed to wrap the heel to provide steadiness during side-to-side movements. As for the underside, it is lined with rubber pods that bring traction on most surfaces.

The Puma Fierce Rope EP is created with women’s foot shape in mind and is available in female sizes. It follows the standard measurement scheme and comes only in a B - Medium width profile. The cleatie construction is intended to be snug-fitting while the wraparound lacing system enhances the fit of the upper.

The outsole of the Puma Fierce Rope EP is made of rubber. This hard-wearing compound lends the necessary traction to prevent slippage.

A pivot point is placed under the big toe. It assists the wearer in performing smooth twists and turns to avoid knee torsion.

The Puma Fierce Rope EP employs a full-length foam midsole. This material is engineered to be durable and provide shock absorption to guard against foot injuries. It is fashioned to cup the heel to heighten the lateral support of the upper.

The upper of this workout shoe from Puma utilizes a soft woven-fabric with an intricate design. The cloth is lightweight and breathable to keep the inside well-ventilated. The interior of the upper is also lined with a smooth textile to deliver a great in-shoe feel.

The demi-cut style of the trainer enables it to support the front and the back of the ankles while the sides are unhindered for lateral mobility. Though it is devised as slip-on footwear, it features a lacing system. The laces help to amplify the snugness of the upper without being too restrictive. The webbed eyelets are set wide apart for a more tuned-in fit. The laces also go around the back so when they are cinched, the rearfoot remains securely in place, thwarting accidental shoe removal.
