Use - As the name suggests, the Puma Evospeed Sprint 6 is designated for sprinting events. It can deliver optimal performance in distances that range from 100 to 400 meters. Being a versatile running shoe, it can also perform in hurdle meets.
Spike Type - The sprint spike houses 8 pyramid spikes per shoe. These come in ¼-inch in length, enabling superb surface grip for propulsion.
Spike Plate - One of the iterations made to the Evospeed Sprint 6 is the integration of a ⅔ Pebax® plate. It has 8 spike wells that accommodate the removable spike pins of the shoe. Moreover, its makeup is one that’s intended for lightweight surface traction.
As mentioned, one of the noticeable enhancements made to the 6th version of the Evospeed Sprint lineup is its revamped spike plate. Its ⅔ Pebax® plate increases the shoe’s durability while maintaining minimal weight.
The design principle followed by this track running spike is meant for a trimmed-down weight to heighten the runner’s pace. Thus, the Evospeed is engineered to employ lesser weight than its predecessor.
The Puma Evospeed Sprint 6 is available in standard width. Male and female users can purchase a pair using their usual size preference. It is advised that before proceeding to purchase, one should go through various user feedback or try the shoe first to ensure an accurate fit.
The components responsible for the fit of the Evospeed Sprint 6 are the one-piece microfiber upper and the classic lacing closure. The upper material offers a snug fit as it conforms to the shape and contours of the foot. Meanwhile, the lace-up system of the track spike permits a customizable fit for comfort and lockdown.
Furnished with a Pebax® plate that’s ⅔ in length, the Evospeed Sprint 6 is styled for maximum surface traction. With the updated spike plate composition, it complements the goal of this sprinting shoe to employ minimal weight. Although naturally rigid, the Pebax® plate incorporates flexible properties.
The spike plate also holds the removable spike pins of the shoe for heightened grip. It is highly durable, protecting the shoe from hazardous track elements.
For a well-cushioned midsole, the Puma Evospeed Sprint 6 is embedded with a compression-molded EVA midsole. It helps the sprinter last in the competition with the comfort it supplies.
The midsole composition of the running spike is also intended to help mitigate the shock upon impact. With this, it helps protect the foot from possible injuries.
The Evospeed Sprint 6 sports a one-piece microfiber upper. It follows the natural pattern and shape of the foot for a secure fit. It keeps a lightweight construction that adheres to the featherlight configuration of the track spike.
A tacked-down tongue is also embellished to the upper for comfort.
For an adjustable fit, the shoe is graced with a traditional lace-up closure.
