Puma Evospeed Long Jump 6: Product profile

Puma Evospeed Long Jump 6 logo

Spike Type - Since the track shoe is best suited for track rubber surfaces, pyramid pins are affixed to the outsole. These are detachable in nature for versatile surface traction. With this spike type, jumpers can expect a good grip on the ground as the pins dig in with every stride.

Spike Plate - Similar to most track shoes, a Pebax® plate is equipped to the outsole. It is a high-strength spike plate that hosts the changeable pins of the jumping spike. Moreover, it pronounces comfort with the flexibility it offers.

Evospeed Long Jump 6 vs. 5

In order to trim down the weight of the jumping spike, it no longer has any midsole elements. The spike plate acts as the underfoot cushioning.

The rest of the track shoe’s makeup mirrors that of its predecessor. For instance, it still sports the same dual-density Pebax® plate for unmatched propulsion.

Puma Evospeed Long Jump 6 lockdown system

For pronounced support and lockdown, the track jumping spike has a dual fastening system.

Just above its lace-up closure, a midfoot strap is implemented, providing convenient closure.

Wraps like a second skin

One of the aspects of the long jump spike influencing its fit is the aerodynamic synthetic upper. This upper material wraps around the foot tightly yet comfortably for amplified security.

To further lockdown, the shoe features a dual fastening system—a classic lacing system and midfoot strap.

Made to last

Adhering to the ultra-light composition of the track spike, a Pebax® plate is configured to the outsole.

It features dual-density engineering for improved stiffness and strength, especially on the midfoot. It is made of a thermoplastic polymer that has durable qualities.

Moreover, the plate also serves as the underfoot cushion for added comfort and helps mitigate shock during impact.

Similar to the Nike Zoom Mamba 5, sharkskin is engineered to the heel of the track shoe. It is comprised of textured rubber that has slip-resistant properties for stability and propulsion.

Puma Evospeed Long Jump 6: As light as air

There are no technical elements present in the midsole of the Puma Evospeed Long Jump 6. This is to promote the lightness of the jumping shoe.

Free from slips

Just like its predecessor, the Evospeed Long Jump 6 features an aerodynamic synthetic upper. This upper material keeps bulk at an absolute minimum and maximizes security.

Puma Evospeed Long Jump 6 fit

It has foot-conforming properties for ultimate lockdown.

The synthetic upper is supplemented by the dual closure system of the long jump shoe.

Puma Evospeed Long Jump 6 lockdown fit

It sports a traditional lace-up fastening system for a dialed-in, accurate fit. Layered on top of this is a midfoot strap, enabling convenient lockdown
