What is it for? This slip-on walking shoe can be used both indoors and outdoors. It is created to provide comfort, whether for work, partying, or just lounging around. Its grippy outsole also makes it suitable for boat use, preventing slippage on wet decks.
Traction. The underside of the OluKai Nalukai Slip-on is covered in rubber. The traction pods form a wave-like pattern that reminds buyers of the beach. The compound is also non-marking, so it won’t leave ugly marks on floors.
Shock-absorption. The primary cushioning unit of the Nalukai Slip-on is made of compression-molded EVA foam. It is a lightweight unit that dulls the impact of each step.
Comfort. Three layers of EVA foam is used for the footbed of this OluKai walking shoe. It provides a soft padding for the foot to lay on. The top is lined with soft microfiber that has moisture-wicking properties.
Hygiene. The insole is removable, so replacing it is no hassle. It can also be washed to prevent odor formation.
Coverage. The top of the OluKai Nalukai Slip-on is crafted from burnished, full-grain premium leather.
Construction. This boat-shoe inspired footwear features stitching accents on the vamp and the heel. The back panel is constructed to easily fold down, which the brand calls its patented Drop-In Heel.
Design. Completing the posh look of the Nalukai Slip-on are the embossed logos on the upper and the additional leather detailing. As for the island-inspired theme, the sockliner features an octopus print on it.
